This Cherry Dump Cake has sweet cherry pie filling, a cheesecake layer and a buttery cake mix topping. Top with a scoop of ice cream for the easiest, yummiest dessert!!

  • 2 21 oz can cherry pie filling
  • 1 8 oz tub whipped cream cheese softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c sugar
  • 1 pkg yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 c salted butter melted


  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Dump the cherry pie filling into a 9x13 baking pan.
  • Stir the cream cheese until smooth. Stir in the egg and sugar until well combined.
  • Spoon the cream cheese mixture over the cherries.
  • Sprinkle the cake mix over the cream cheese mixture.
  • Slowly pour the melted butter over the cake mix.
  • Bake for 50-55 minutes until golden brown on top.
  • Serve warm with ice cream, if desired.
