Homemade Cornbread


You'll need flour, yellow cornmeal, baking powder, baking soda, salt, butter, sugar, honey, an egg, and buttermilk. 

Combine all dry ingredients into a bowl. 

In a separate bowl, whisk all wet ingredients together. 

Add the wet ingredients to the dry and mix until combined.  

Pour the batter into a greased square baking pan. 

Bake at 375 F for 18 minutes then brush the top with the honey-butter glaze. 

Serve warm with a pat of butter and an extra drizzle of honey!
