You'll need a cake mix plus the ingredients it calls for, caramels, half and half, butter, pecans, and chocolate chips.

Mix the cake mix according to the package instructions.

Pour half of the batter in and bake until the center is just set.

Melt the butter, caramel, and half and half together and stir until smooth.

Pour the caramel sauce over the cake.

Sprinkle the pecans and chocolate chips over the caramel sauce.

Pour the remaining batter over the top of the cake and bake!
