creamy peanut butter
1/2
cup
honey
1
teaspoon
vanilla
1/2
teaspoon
salt

old-fashioned oats
1
cup
quick oats* (can do all old-fashioned or all quick)
2/3
cup
trail mix (or a any mix of dried fruit, nuts, chocolate), chopped

tablespoons
chocolate chips
Instructions
In a large bowl, stir together the peanut butter, honey, vanilla and salt.
Add the oats and chopped trail mix; stir until it's all incorporated.
Press granola bar mixture into a parchment-lined 9x9 pan.
Lay a piece of parchment on top and use a flat measuring cup to press it down into an even layer.
Refrigerate for an hour or more.
Remove the parchment paper and cut into 16 bars.
Melt the chocolate chips and drizzle on top.
Notes
*Oats - You can used all quick or all old-fashioned oats if you just have one or the other. I like the texture best when using a combination.
