Chocolate Peanut Butter Revel Bars

A peanut butter oatmeal base, fudgy center and crunchy peanut butter candies make up these delicious Chocolate Peanut Butter Revel Bars!

Ingredients

Dough

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 cup quick oats

Fudgy Center + Candies

  • One 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
  • 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup Reese's Pieces candy chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13 inch pan with cooking spray.
  • In the bowl of a stand mixer, cream the butter, peanut butter and brown sugar together.
  • Add the egg and vanilla.
  • Then add the flour and oats and mix until well-combined.
  • Press 2/3 of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan. Set the rest aside.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips and 2 tablespoons butter.
  • Microwave on high in 30 second increments, stirring between each, until the mixture is smooth.
  • Pour over the dough and spread to the edges.
  • Dollop the 1/2 cup of peanut butter over the fudgy filling and use a spoon to marble it into the fudge (see photos above for clarification).
  • Drop the remaining dough by spoonfuls over the fudgy filling and sprinkle with chopped candies.
  • Lightly press the candies into the dough and bake for 22-25 minutes or until the edges are a light golden brown.
  • Let cool then cut and enjoy!
