Equipment

Ingredients

  • 3 cups milk
  • One 12 ounce can evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a crockpot and whisk together. (The cocoa will not be mixed in well at this point, which is fine).
  • Place the lid on the crockpot and heat on high for 1-2 hours or low for 2-4 hours, whisking occasionally.*
  • Once the chocolate is melted and it's hot enough for your liking, you can enjoy right away or turn to the "warm setting" to enjoy later on.

Notes

*You can also make this on the stovetop.  Simply add the ingredients to a large pot and heat over low-medium heat until the chocolate is melted and the liquid is piping hot, but not boiling.
