- 3-4 pounds bone-in country style ribs*
- seasoned salt such as Lawry's
- 1 12-ounce can Dr. Pepper or Coke
- 1 1/4 cups barbecue sauce
Place the ribs in the bottom of the slow cooker.

Sprinkle with seasoned salt.

Pour the can of soda over the ribs.

Drizzle the barbecue sauce over the ribs
1 1/4 cups barbecue sauce
Cover with the slow cooker lid and cook for 3-4 hours on high or 5-6 hours on low, or until fork-tender.
OPTIONAL: Preheat the oven to broil and line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place the ribs on the pan and brush with additional barbecue sauce. Broil for 2-4 minutes, watching closely so they don't burn, until glossy and bubbly in places.
Serve warm.
*Boneless Country Style Ribs can also be used. However, please note that they are typically much smaller and therefore take less time to cook. Start with 2 hours on high or 4 hours on low and add time as needed.
*Depending on the size of the ribs, plan to serve about 1-2 country-style ribs per person.
