Walking Taco Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • One 14.5 ounce can petite diced tomatoes do NOT drain
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 2 cups crushed Doritos divided
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese divided

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350F and grease a 8x8" baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Brown the ground beef in a large skillet; drain.
  • Stir in the tomatoes, water and taco seasoning.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil and let simmer for 3 minutes.
  • Stir in half of the crushed chips and 1 cup of the shredded cheese; pour into prepared pan.
  • Sprinkle with the remaining cheese and then the remaining chips.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until hot and bubbly around the edges.
  • Top individual servings with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
