Preheat oven to 350℉ and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Sprinkle the dry cake mix into the bottom of the baking dish, then top with chocolate pudding mix and marshmallows.
Pour the milk and melted butter on top; whisk until combined.
Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the edges of the pans are set and the center is still wiggly.
Enjoy warm with vanilla ice cream.
Notes
When served warm, this cake is easiest to serve as more of a cobbler (spooned out rather than cut into slices). Once it's chilled, it can be sliced...but I highly recommend trying it warm! :)
