Crescent Roll Breakfast Casserole

This hearty Crescent Roll Breakfast Casserole has sausage, eggs, crescent rolls and shredded cheese!! It's always a crowd-pleaser!

Ingredients

  • 10 eggs
  • 1 1/3 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers (any color)
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 6 cups cubed croissant rolls
  • 12 ounces breakfast sausage links (or ground breakfast sausage)* cooked according to package instructions and chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9x13 baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, bell peppers, green onions and seasoned salt.
  • Spread the cubed croissants out in the 9x13 pan.
  • Add the chopped breakfast sausage and then the shredded cheese.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the bread, sausage and cheese.
  • Cover and refrigerate overnight OR bake right away for 30 minutes or until the center of the casserole is set.

Notes

*You can also use diced ham or cooked and crumbled bacon
