- 1 pound frozen bread dough (or pizza dough) thawed
- 2 tablespoons salted butter melted
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- pizza sauce for dipping optional
Thaw the bread dough according to package instructions.
1 pound frozen bread dough (or pizza dough)
Grease a sheet pan and set aside.
Place the dough on a clean surface and cut into 12 equal sized pieces.
Roll each piece of dough into a 7-8 inch long stick and transfer to the prepared pan.
Cover the pan with a clean towel (like a flour sack towel) or gently with a piece of waxed paper and let rest for 30 minutes in a warm place.
Preheat oven to 375℉.
Bake the breadsticks for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
Stir together the melted butter, garlic, parsley, and salt.

Brush over the warm breadsticks and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.

Store breadsticks in a resealable bag for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 1 month.
To reheat, wrap a few breadsticks in aluminum foil then heat in a 300F oven for 8-10 minutes to warm them. You can remove them from the foil for the last couple of minutes if you want a little crispness around the edges of the breadsticks.
You can also reheat these in the microwave, but just for 15-20 seconds to warm and soften them up a bit. Heat for too long and they'll become tough in the microwave.
