Nutella Puff Pastry

Just three ingredients are needed to whip up a batch of Nutella Puff Pastry! The buttery pastry is twisted up with a layer of the decadent chocolate hazelnut spread and baked to perfection!!

Ingredients

  • 1 17.3-ounce box puff pastry (2 sheets)
  • 1/2 cup Nutella
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400℉ and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Remove the two puff pastry sheets from the box and let thaw for 20-30 minutes on the counter.

  • Unfold one of the puff pastries to make it a square.
  • Spread the Nutella evenly over the square.
    1/2 cup Nutella
  • Unfold the second sheet of puff pastry and place it on top of the Nutella.
  • Use a pizza cutter to cut 9 even strips of dough.
  • Twist each strip of dough and then swirl it into a round pastry.
  • Place on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Dust with powdered sugar and enjoy warm.

Notes

  • Puff pastry can typically be found in the freezer of the grocery store near the whipped topping.
  • Make sure the oven is totally preheated before baking the pastries; the hot oven helps ensure that the pastry stays nice and flaky!
  • Serve these warm for breakfast, brunch, snack or dessert!
