Peanut Butter Oreo Brookies

- 1 box (16.5 ounces)* brownie mix plus ingredients called for on box, likely eggs, oil and water
- 1 package (17.5 ounces) chocolate chip cookie dough mix plus ingredients called for on package, likely butter, water and an egg
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup Reeses Pieces
- 16 Oreo cookies halved
Preheat oven to 350℉ and grease a 9x13-inch pan with cooking spray.
Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions; set aside.
1 box (16.5 ounces)* brownie mix
Prepare the cookie dough mix according to package instructions; set aside.
1 package (17.5 ounces) chocolate chip cookie dough mix
Spread the brownie batter into the bottom of the prepared pan.
Dollop the peanut butter onto the brownie batter and swirl with a toothpick or butterknife.
1/2 cup peanut butter
Sprinkle with half of the Reeses Pieces followed by 12 of the Oreos (halved or coarsely chopped).
1/2 cup Reeses Pieces, 16 Oreo cookies
Spoon the cookie dough on top.
Top with remaining Oreos and Reeses Pieces; press down gently.
Bake for 25-28 minutes or until golden brown around the edges. Do not overbake.
Let cool and enjoy.
*Brownie mix sizes vary greatly. Anything 16 - 18.5 ounces will work fine.
You don't want to over-bake these or they'll go from fudgy and delicious to slightly dry and crumbly. You can always finish baking them with aluminum foil on top if the edges are browning before the rest of the pan is done.
