Taco Pizza

When tacos and pizza collide, we get this deliciously easy Taco Pizza!! With a flavorful sauce, taco meat, cheese and all the toppings you want, it's a fiesta in the making!

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • One 1 ounce packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup refried beans
  • 1/2 cup taco sauce
  • One 13.8 ounce tube refrigerated pizza crust
  • 2 1/2 cups shredded cheese cheddar, monterey jack or a Mexican blend
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup crushed nacho cheese tortilla chips ie. Doritos
  • sour cream and/or taco sauce for topping, optional

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400℉ and grease a large baking sheet or pizza pan with cooking spray.
  • Brown the ground beef in a large skillet; drain excess grease.

  • Stir in the taco seasoning, refried beans and taco sauce; set aside.

  • Unroll the refrigerated pizza crust onto the prepared pan, pressing it into a 14-inch round circle.

  • Bake for 6 minutes.
  • Spread the beefy sauce over the pizza crust then sprinkle the cheese on top.
    2 1/2 cups shredded cheese
  • Bake for an additional 8-10 minutes or until the cheese is all melted and golden brown around the edges.
  • Sprinkle the shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes and crushed chips over the pizza.

  • Serve with sour cream and taco sauce, if desired.
