WARNING: This easy snack mix is highly addictive! Don’t say I didn’t warn you! 😉 Ha! But really, once you have a bite of this snack mix, you won’t want to stop!

I love this crunchy mix for many reasons. First off, it’s super easy to put together (no baking needed!) and will be done in under 10 minutes. Next, it’s got such a fun mix of crackers/pretzels/chips! And lastly, the robust flavor from the seasoning mixture is savory, a bit tangy and ….addictive!

Ranch Snack Mix Ingredients

  • Popcorn oil – I use the Orville Redenbacher “Popcorn & Topping Buttery Flavored Oil”
  • Vegetable oil
  • Ranch seasoning mix packet
  • Lemon pepper seasoning
  • Dill weed
  • About 22 cups of crackers – I always use Wheat Thins, Gardettos, Chicken in a Biskit, mini Club crackers, Cheezit Ranch Grooves, and Mega Goldfish (see below for other options if you can’t find these)

Crackers in a Ranch Snack Mix

I love the mix of crackers in the snack mix as listed. However, if you can’t find one of those listed, there are other options! Essentially, you’ll just want to make sure you have about 22 cups of crackers total.

Other options that are great in this recipe are listed below:

  • Veggie Straws
  • Cheetos
  • Pretzel Sticks or Pretzel Twists
  • Cheezit Crackers (Cheddar or White Cheddar)
  • Bugles

How to make Ranch Snack Mix

It’s as easy as mix, dump, stir. Seriously! Just mix the oils and seasonings and pour over the crackers. Once you’ve got it stirred together well, it’s ready to enjoy!!

The one thing to be careful of is how you stir the mix. You want to be careful not to crush the crackers, so my recommendation is to place everything in a large container with a lid and slowly shake or flip numerous times.

How to Serve a Snack Mix

I like to serve this in a giant bowl with small disposable cups. The cups can scoop up the mixture and are easy to walk around with! It’s perfect for baby and bridal showers, birthday parties, football tailgates and everything in between.

How to Store

Simply store the mixture at room temperature in a tightly sealed container or in plastic bags with a good seal.

  5. Can I use 1 cup of canola oil instead of the popcorn oil?

    1. You can – it just won’t have the yummy buttery flavor from the popcorn oil! 🙂

  6. You don’t have to bake it in the oven?

    1. You don’t! I like to let it set overnight to really let all the flavors soak in, but it’s delicious as is!
